Director of Consultant Relations at 9amHealth

We are 9amHealth, an AI-driven virtual specialty care platform dedicated to managing chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and obesity at scale. Since our founding in 2021, we have partnered with employers, health plans, and pharmacy benefit managers to provide comprehensive care that includes access to specialized clinicians, at-home lab testing, and prescription management. Backed by prominent investors such as The Cigna Group Ventures and 7Wire Ventures, we are looking for a Director of Consultant Relations to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will serve as the primary face of our company to the benefits consulting community, driving growth by fostering strategic partnerships with the advisors who influence employer healthcare decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with employee benefits consultants, pharmacy advisors, and other key influencers who steer employer healthcare spending.
• Negotiate and secure formal commercial agreements and partnerships with consulting firms and their broader client networks.
• Represent the company at industry events and through professional networking to keep our solutions top-of-mind, while collaborating with our internal marketing and sales teams to create compelling materials and case studies.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked within digital health, PBMs, or broader healthcare services.
• A proven track record of success in selling to or through consultants, brokers, and industry advisors.
• Exceptional networking and communication skills, combined with the self-discipline to manage your own pipeline and the willingness to travel to industry conferences and partner offices as necessary.
