Role at a glance

This is a full-time, director-level position focused on managing and optimizing our AWS infrastructure. You will work remotely from anywhere, providing strategic leadership to ensure our cloud environment remains secure, reliable, and highly scalable as our business continues to expand.

Your impact

• You will design and implement robust cloud security strategies to safeguard our systems and data.
• You will lead the enforcement of governance and compliance standards, ensuring our cloud resources meet rigorous benchmarks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• You will optimize our infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions.

What you'll need

We are looking for someone with deep technical expertise and a proven ability to lead. You should be fluent in English and possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in software development or infrastructure operations, including at least 4 years specifically in cloud operations.
• At least 1 year of experience in a formal leadership role.
• Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and scripting with tools like Python and Terraform.
• A strong grasp of cloud security, networking, and cost management best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
