Role at a glance

We are seeking a Director of Applied Science, Growth Initiatives to join our team. This is a full-time, executive-level position. Because we operate as a virtual-first company, this role is remote and can be performed from anywhere within our approved regions.

Your impact

Lead and mentor a talented team of Applied Scientists, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous professional growth.
Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning models and AI algorithms to optimize user acquisition, engagement, and long-term retention.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations leaders to identify high-impact growth opportunities and leverage generative AI to create novel solutions.

What you'll need

A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in applied science, including 3 or more years in a leadership capacity.
Deep expertise in machine learning, AI, and causal inference, specifically within marketing and growth contexts.
Proven success in using AI to drive tangible business growth within a technology company.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in English.
