Imagine a small, high-performing team that has quietly built one of the most successful consumer apps on both the Apple and Google app stores. Every decision we make is shaped by the data we collect and the stories it tells, and we are now looking for someone to turn that intuition into a lasting, company-wide capability.
The opportunity
We are creating a new Director of Analytics role that will sit at the center of how we grow and improve the product. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will build our analytics practice from the ground up, designing the systems, processes, and culture that let every team-from product to marketing-make faster, smarter decisions. The work you lead will directly influence revenue and the metrics that matter most to our users and our board.
A day in the life
- You set the overall direction for data collection, storage, and reporting, choosing the right third-party tools and making sure every event and tag is implemented correctly across our mobile and web surfaces.
- You turn raw numbers into clear stories, building dashboards that the leadership team and board rely on while running a steady queue of A/B tests that lift activation, engagement, retention, and conversion.
- You champion a data-first mindset, helping colleagues across business, product, design, and marketing see the value of evidence-based decisions and giving them the insights they need to act quickly.
Who you are
You bring at least seven years of hands-on experience analyzing user behavior and funnels in a live production environment, along with five or more years of team leadership at production scale. You are fluent in tag management, A/B and multivariate testing, and basic statistical methods, and you have spent at least two years working with mobile products. You know the current landscape of app-store analytics, Mixpanel, install-attribution platforms, and Google Analytics, and you have worked with consumer subscription offerings and marketing-automation tools. Most importantly, you can turn imperfect data into clear recommendations and communicate them so that others can move decisively.
Because our teams operate globally, fluency in English is essential.
Why you'll love it here
You will join a fully remote workplace that gives you the freedom to shape both the technical foundation and the day-to-day rhythm of analytics across the company. We value clear communication, thoughtful experimentation, and the chance to see your work translate into measurable growth for a product loved by millions of users.
