At Sidecar Health, we are on a mission to make high-quality healthcare both affordable and accessible for everyone. We are working to fix a broken system by making it more transparent, personalized, and efficient. Our team is a diverse group of professionals from backgrounds in technology, policy, and healthcare, all united by the goal of transforming the United States healthcare landscape. If you are a driven individual who wants to make a tangible impact, we would love to have you on our team.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Director of Account Management to join us in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a senior-level position designed for a leader who can balance high-level client relationship management with the operational rigor needed to scale our business. You will be responsible for building the tools, processes, and team capabilities that allow us to grow while maintaining a high standard of service for our clients.
What will you do?
- Lead, coach, and develop our Account Management team while fostering a high-performance culture and setting clear strategic goals.
- Take ownership of retention and growth targets for our employer groups, serving as a senior leader in interactions with brokers and HR decision-makers.
- Design and implement scalable systems and processes that improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall client experience.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of the employer group health insurance space and a proven ability to lead teams. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:
- Over 8 years of experience in Account Management or Customer Success within the healthcare or insurance sectors, including at least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable business strategies.
- A systems-level mindset, meaning you are comfortable identifying process gaps and building long-term solutions rather than just handling daily tasks.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A bachelor's degree in a field such as Business, Finance, or Marketing.
- A preference for being based on the East Coast, with a willingness to travel about once a month.
What's in it for you?
We offer a supportive environment where your work directly contributes to our mission. Our benefits package includes:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- A 401k retirement plan.
- Generous paid time off and company holidays.
- Equity compensation to ensure you share in our success.
- The chance to play a key role in a rapidly growing company that is actively changing the future of healthcare.
