We are looking for a Director, Lifestyle & Field Marketing to join our team in a full-time capacity. Based in the United States, this role requires you to work on-site four days per week. As a leader in the cannabis technology space, Weedmaps has spent over a decade building the infrastructure that powers a transparent and inclusive global cannabis economy. We are seeking a strategic thinker to help us elevate our brand presence, drive consumer engagement, and manage impactful partnerships and events across the country.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive lifestyle strategies that align with our marketing goals and elevate the Weedmaps brand.
- Oversee the end-to-end production of events and partnerships, including logistics, budget management, vendor negotiations, and risk assessment.
- Lead and mentor a team of event production professionals while collaborating with regional marketing managers to localize national campaigns.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience in marketing, brand partnerships, and lifestyle strategy.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to handle event logistics and complex negotiations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of building relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- A relevant college degree or equivalent practical experience.
- The flexibility to travel up to 30% of the time and the ability to work outside of standard business hours when required by event schedules.
- Proficiency in using event management software and tools to track performance and KPIs.
What we offer
