At Blockchains, we are building a pioneering platform that merges social experiences with Web3 identity to ensure individuals maintain control over their digital lives. We are looking for a visionary Director of IT to lead our technology strategy and help us empower users to transact and interact in a safe, decentralized environment.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead our comprehensive IT strategy and drive digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing IT team while fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.
- Manage all technology operations, including Co-Lo data centers, cloud environments, and internal IT systems.
- Establish and enforce robust IT governance frameworks, policies, and security standards to ensure compliance and risk management.
- Oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and strategic technology investments.
- Partner with cybersecurity stakeholders to manage vulnerability assessments, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and manage vendor relationships, including contract and SLA negotiations.
- Lead complex technical projects using established project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery.
Must-haves
- Fifteen years of professional experience, including at least seven years in IT architecture, strategy, and policy development.
- Five years of experience as a hands-on technology leader managing data center infrastructures.
- Strong technical proficiency in DevOps, DevSecOps, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive experience with Windows and Linux servers, Hyper-V, VMWare, and cloud-hosted technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain security standards such as NIST, ISO, SOC, PCI, or HIPAA.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Must reside in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship.
