We are looking for a Director of IT Procurement to join our team on-site in the United States to lead our vendor contracting and purchasing strategies, ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of vendor transactions, from initial contract review and approval to final purchasing and fulfillment.
- Oversee the procurement of hardware, software, and subscription services, including vendor onboarding and contract renewals.
- Partner with the CTO, Legal, and Finance teams to negotiate contract terms and drive alignment on business goals.
- Supervise the IT Procurement and Purchasing staff while managing key vendor relationships.
- Track IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including inventory management, warranty tracking, and end-of-life planning.
- Identify and implement cost-saving strategies to consolidate supplier products and enhance overall value.
- Manage purchase ordering processes and provide first-level invoice approvals.
- Collaborate with the IT Service Management team to select equipment that supports business productivity and aligns with our service catalogue.
Must-haves
- At least 8 years of experience in IT contracts, procurement, or purchasing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of IT contract language, including licensing models, risk management, and compliance requirements for SaaS and cloud services.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage scope, timelines, and budgets effectively.
- Excellent analytical and financial acumen to evaluate bids, proposals, and total cost of ownership.
- High attention to detail, specifically regarding the review and markup of complex IT contracts.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience implementing AI solutions for contract lifecycle management.
- Proficiency with Yardi P2P and ServiceNow systems.
- Familiarity with commercial real estate data providers such as Bloomberg, Yardi, or CoStar.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CPM.
Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $135,000 – $185,000. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for bonus compensation. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
