About the Job
The Director, IT and Business Systems will own the business systems/IT function at Visby. The role is an important part of the Visby leadership team, and the team will drive the development of systems to meet the information and governance needs across the Finance & Accounting, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, go-to-market, and other teams in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the company’s information technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support business goals and objectives.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Provide leadership, oversight, and mentorship in the planning, prioritization and execution of IT controls and audits, including SOX compliance.
- Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems.
- Lead the Company’s efforts to maintain key enterprise applications (primarily NetSuite, Arena, Reliance/ETQ and Salesforce.com), and design and build out value-added functionality.
- Lead the software development lifecycle (SDLC), IT general controls (ITGC), and application control walkthroughs for new or complex processes and systems.
- Stay abreast of evolutions in the market for enterprise-grade tools and lead cross-functional efforts to select and implement new value-added technologies.

On Your First Day We’d Like You to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance or Accounting.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in high-growth environments.
It’s Great If You Have
- NetSuite Administration Certification and/or Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade tools, such as SQL, JavaScript and/or Python.
Salary Range:
- $200,000 - $245,000 (salary range for candidates based in San Jose, CA)
- Compensation for the role is based on geographical location. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly.
- Compensation also depends on a number of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
