We are looking for a Director of Internal Communications to join our team in New York, NY. As a leader in the wealth management industry, we operate as a partnership of fiduciary firms that challenges traditional banking models, having completed over 290 M&A transactions since 2006 to become the largest investor in the Registered Investment Advisor space.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and senior leadership to develop internal communication strategies that align with our core values and company mission.
- Manage the creation and distribution of content across various channels, including our intranet, email, social platforms, town halls, and live events.
- Draft high-quality scripts, presentations, and messaging decks while ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications.
- Design creative delivery methods, such as video or gamification, to ensure organizational initiatives resonate with our employees.
- Facilitate a productive feedback loop by encouraging employee input and managing responses effectively.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior management regarding organizational developments and lead the internal response during times of crisis.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing.
- At least 5 years of full-time professional experience specifically in an internal communications role.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with a talent for identifying and sourcing compelling stories.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to take initiative.
- Fluency in English.

- Prior experience working within the wealth management sector.
- Background in managing communications for M&A activity.
Benefits
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $170,000, depending on individual expertise and location.
