Teague is an independent design consultancy that blends deep technical expertise with a sophisticated understanding of human behavior. For nearly a century, we have shaped the future for leaders in aviation, automotive, space, defense, and smart cities. As an employee-owned firm, we pride ourselves on a culture built on collaboration and stability, where every team member has a direct stake in our collective success. We are looking for someone who wants to build a career at a place that truly invests in its people.
What is this role?
We are seeking a strategic and people-oriented Director of Information Technology to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. This is a leadership position that requires a seasoned professional with 10 to 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a director or senior leadership capacity. You will be responsible for driving our enterprise-wide technology strategy, ensuring our infrastructure is secure, scalable, and perfectly aligned with the needs of our multidisciplinary creative teams.
What will you do?
- Lead the design and maintenance of our secure, scalable IT infrastructure across both cloud and hybrid environments.
- Mentor and manage a high-performing IT team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Oversee critical compliance and security initiatives, including managing frameworks like NIST 800-171 and CMMC, while translating complex technical requirements into actionable business strategies.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a forward-thinking leader who understands how to balance technical rigor with the flexibility required by a creative services firm. You possess strong emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels. To be successful, you should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, with professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL.
- Deep expertise in cloud transformation, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance, specifically with ITAR, FedRAMP, and CMMC 2.0.
- A proven track record of managing IT costs and optimizing vendor relationships without sacrificing performance.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where you must navigate ambiguity and support iterative, design-centered workflows.
- U.S. person status, which is required for project compliance.
What's in it for you?
We offer a competitive base salary range of $180,000 to $220,000. Beyond the numbers, you will join an employee-owned company that values your long-term growth and well-being. Our benefits package includes:
- Comprehensive medical and dental insurance.
- 401k retirement planning.
- Life and disability insurance.
- Flexible hours and a hybrid work environment.
- Generous paid time off.
