About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Director of Information Technology to join us on a full-time basis. This is a vital leadership position where you will oversee our internal technology landscape, with a specific emphasis on managing our helpdesk and ensuring seamless in-office IT operations. We need a hands-on, service-oriented leader who can balance high-level strategic infrastructure planning with the daily technical needs of our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor our internal IT team, focusing on helpdesk operations, user support, and efficient issue resolution.
- Maintain and optimize our office infrastructure, including networking, audio-visual equipment, and video conferencing systems.
- Manage our technology ecosystem, including software licensing, hardware procurement, vendor relationships, and the implementation of new tools to boost internal efficiency.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong technical background and a passion for supporting end users. Our requirements include:
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or director-level capacity.
- Deep expertise in managing helpdesk operations and desktop support within a hybrid or distributed work environment.
- Proficiency with cloud services and platforms such as Google Workspace, Okta, MDM, and various SaaS solutions.
- Solid experience supporting macOS and enterprise-level office infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage vendor partnerships.
Location
This position is based in New York, NY, and requires a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000.00 to $170,000.00 (on-target earnings). In addition to our compensation package, we provide the following benefit:
