About the Role
We are looking for a Director, Engineering to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will lead the engineering teams within our Shared Product Services pillar, which includes our Optimization, Identity, and Entitlements teams. You will work closely with product, security, and customer success leaders to ensure we deliver stable, resilient, and high-quality services that align with our broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering managers and their teams, fostering an empathetic, high-performing, and collaborative environment.
- Define and track core engineering metrics while leading initiatives to improve the scalability, performance, and reliability of our systems.
- Develop the strategic vision for your group, ensuring that our technical roadmap is effectively executed and aligned with company objectives.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in software development, specifically working with distributed production systems at scale.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manager-of-managers role, overseeing multiple engineering teams.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in modern software practices like Agile, combined with excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in SaaS or FinTech environments is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to drive technical decision-making across various departments.

This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
