The role
We are seeking a Director of Downstream Marketing to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a senior-level position for a strategic thinker who can serve as the primary link between our scientific advancements and the medical community. You will be instrumental in leading our commercial launch efforts and expanding our market presence for our cancer screening portfolio.
Core responsibilities
- Lead the execution of go-to-market strategies for new products, creating integrated campaigns and sales enablement tools that distill complex clinical data into clear, actionable messaging for healthcare professionals.
- Drive customer acquisition by overseeing digital marketing initiatives, including paid media, email marketing, and search engine optimization, while using performance data to refine and scale our efforts.
- Partner with our sales and training teams to develop high-impact collateral and objection-handling resources that empower our field teams and accelerate the sales cycle.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a business, life sciences, or related field.
- Over 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years focused on downstream or commercial marketing within the biotech, molecular diagnostics, or medical device industries.
- A proven ability to translate dense clinical data into compelling narratives that resonate with busy physicians.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to align Sales, Medical Affairs, and Product Management teams toward our commercial mission.
- A data-driven mindset, with a track record of measuring key metrics like customer acquisition costs and engagement to iterate on campaign performance.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this position is $197,200 to $281,400 USD. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive package designed to support your well-being and long-term success, including:
