We are looking for a Director, Cybersecurity to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for our cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring they align with our broader business goals and protect our infrastructure.
- Oversee all incident response efforts, including the detection, investigation, and recovery phases of any security event.
- Collaborate across departments with teams like legal, IT, and compliance to integrate robust security standards into our daily business processes.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced executive leader who can drive innovation and solve complex technical challenges. While we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every single criterion, the following qualifications are key:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a master's degree being a plus.
- A current CISSP certification or an equivalent professional credential.
- At least 10 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, specifically with a proven history of managing teams.
- Deep technical expertise in security tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, and encryption, alongside a strong grasp of frameworks like NIST, ISO27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex security risks into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
