Evergreen Nephrology is seeking a strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Clinical Information Systems. We partner with nephrologists to transform kidney care through a value-based, holistic model, and you will play a key role in designing and supporting the systems that improve quality of life for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans for clinical information systems that align with our organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative culture within a team of product managers and configuration analysts.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of clinical systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our clinical staff.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure accountability and effective problem resolution for platforms like athenaOne and the Innovaccer Product Suite.
- Maintain a technical product roadmap and prioritize requirements to support our clinical strategy.
- Collaborate with IT teams to manage system upgrades and facilitate the development of new, user-centric features.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of clinical data across all platforms.
- Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to keep our systems competitive and efficient.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of experience in people leadership.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Manager working with EMR, care management, or clinical applications.
- 3+ years of experience using product management and release planning tools such as Jira or Aha.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud-based platforms, API/HL7/CDA integrations, and data migration.
- 2+ years of experience managing external vendor relationships and delivery teams.
- A background in healthcare, computer science, clinical informatics, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Fluency in English.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $160,000 per year.
