Role at a glance

We are seeking a Director of Business Management to oversee the operational heartbeat of our Technology, Data, and AI divisions. This is a full-time, senior-level leadership position based in Australia. We operate under a hybrid model, which balances the flexibility of remote work with meaningful, in-person collaboration at our Sydney office.

Your impact

• Design and manage the Office of the CIO operating rhythm, including portfolio governance, leadership cadences, and strategic planning cycles.
• Lead financial management and workforce planning for the technology function, ensuring our investment, capacity, and vendor capabilities are optimized for scale.
• Strengthen our operational resilience by overseeing technology risk, audit readiness, and incident response while partnering with architecture leaders to align execution with our long-term strategy.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be a structured, outcomes-focused leader who thrives in complex environments. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Extensive experience in technology operations, business management, or program leadership at an executive level.
• Deep commercial acumen, specifically regarding technology budgets, investment governance, and capacity planning.
• A solid understanding of enterprise architecture and the intersection of technology strategy and delivery.
• Proven expertise in managing technology risk, audit readiness, and incident response.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English and a mindset that embraces AI and continuous learning.
