We are currently looking for a talented professional to join our US Latin legal team and help us continue this legacy of artistic integrity and entrepreneurship.

What is this role?

We are seeking a Director, Business & Legal Affairs to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an executive-level position based in the United States, specifically requiring the ability to work in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area. We operate with a hybrid work model, which we call Flex First, to balance the benefits of remote work with the value of in-person collaboration.

What will you do?

• You will manage the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of agreements, including recording, distribution, brand partnership, and licensing deals.
• You will provide strategic legal counsel to senior management and internal departments regarding daily business operations and potential risk assessments.
• You will protect our interests by reviewing promotional materials, marketing initiatives, and artwork to minimize legal exposure, while also addressing issues related to copyright infringement and piracy.

• A Bachelor’s degree and a JD from an accredited US law school, along with admission to at least one state bar.
• At least five years of legal experience, ideally within an entertainment company or a related law practice.
• Strong expertise in contract drafting, risk analysis, and business law, specifically regarding the music industry.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and composure under pressure.
• Proficiency in English is required, and Spanish-speaking skills are considered a plus.
