We are currently looking for a talented professional to join our US Latin legal team and help us continue this legacy of artistic integrity and entrepreneurship.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Director, Business & Legal Affairs to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an executive-level position based in the United States, specifically requiring the ability to work in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area. We operate with a hybrid work model, which we call Flex First, to balance the benefits of remote work with the value of in-person collaboration.
What will you do?
- You will manage the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of agreements, including recording, distribution, brand partnership, and licensing deals.
- You will provide strategic legal counsel to senior management and internal departments regarding daily business operations and potential risk assessments.
- You will protect our interests by reviewing promotional materials, marketing initiatives, and artwork to minimize legal exposure, while also addressing issues related to copyright infringement and piracy.

To succeed in this role, you should be a solution-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree and a JD from an accredited US law school, along with admission to at least one state bar.
- At least five years of legal experience, ideally within an entertainment company or a related law practice.
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, risk analysis, and business law, specifically regarding the music industry.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and composure under pressure.
- Proficiency in English is required, and Spanish-speaking skills are considered a plus.
