What is this role?

We are seeking a Director of Business Intelligence to lead our internal data function. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Utah, requiring regular time in the office. As a director-level leader, you will report to the VP of Data and Business Intelligence and play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy, fostering a data-driven culture, and driving growth across the entire organization.

What will you do?

• Establish and lead a new internal data function by managing Analytics Engineering and BI Dashboard Engineering teams while collaborating closely with Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics.
• Partner with stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to translate their unique needs into actionable technical specifications and scalable data solutions.
• Proactively identify new initiatives based on industry trends, including the use of AI in BI, to ensure our data infrastructure remains accurate, reliable, and high-performing.

What makes you a great fit?

You should have at least 8 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management capacity. We are looking for someone who possesses strong business acumen and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. You should be proficient in data visualization tools, understand ETL/ELT processes, and have experience working with SQL and data warehousing. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and a master's degree is considered a plus.
