What is this role?
We are seeking a Director of Business Development to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position designed for an experienced professional who can drive our growth strategy. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our partnerships across the biopharma, biotech, and academic sectors by leveraging our unique data assets and translational expertise.
What will you do?
- Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships with biopharma, biotech, and academic institutions to grow our presence in the market.
- Lead complex negotiations, structure agreements, and drive deals to closure while collaborating closely with our Legal, Finance, and executive leadership teams.
- Build a robust pipeline of opportunities by staying ahead of evolving partner needs regarding biomarkers, clinical development, and precision medicine.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a strategic thinker with a strong background in the life sciences industry. You possess a deep understanding of oncology, immunology, or related therapeutic areas, and you are comfortable navigating the intersection of AI and data-driven platforms. You have a proven track record of closing strategic collaboration and licensing agreements, supported by your exceptional analytical and communication skills.
We are looking for candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare or life sciences, while an MBA or Ph.D. is preferred. You should have 8 to 10 years of experience in business development, corporate development, or strategic partnerships. Your ability to build credibility with executive leadership and your passion for driving results in healthcare innovation will be essential to your success in this role.
