Directeur Technique at Ennismore

The Hoxton, Paris, is currently looking for a dedicated Directeur Technique to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. Located in a historic 18th-century building in the 2nd arrondissement, our hotel features 172 guest rooms, a restaurant, two terraces, a cocktail bar, a wine bar, a lobby café, and various event spaces. Key outcomes

• Perform regular inspections of technical installations to prevent malfunctions and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure all maintenance operations are executed effectively throughout the entire property.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance and energy management programs to ensure the safe and efficient use of all hotel equipment.
• Oversee the management of service equipment, including elevators, air conditioning, and hot water production.
• Prioritize guest comfort and safety by remaining vigilant regarding equipment issues and addressing client feedback or complaints.
• Prepare and monitor action plans in coordination with safety commissions and control offices.
• Adhere to all mandatory purchasing policies and controls established by the brand and the group.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and monitor supplier performance to ensure alignment with our purchasing policies.
• Lead, mentor, and support the growth of the maintenance technician team.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a senior technical management role within a high-end hotel environment.
• Strong theoretical knowledge in areas such as heating and cooling, air conditioning, building pathology, water treatment, and ERP regulations.
• Comprehensive understanding of safety standards, current security risks, and multi-project renovation management methodologies.
• Proven ability to deliver results while meeting strict deadlines.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent organizational skills and a strong sense of personal responsibility.
• Positive, team-oriented, and outgoing personality with the ability to solve problems effectively.
• Fluency in French.
