The role

We are looking for a Digital Web Producer to join us on a freelance, contract basis. This is a mid-level position designed for a professional who thrives in a remote setting. The role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week for a long-term engagement, with the potential for the right candidate to transition into a full-time employee role after approximately six months. You must be based in the United States and able to maintain partial overlap with EST business hours.

Core responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain web pages within the Contentful CMS while ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers, to integrate multimedia and interactive elements seamlessly.
• Optimize web content for search engines by implementing metadata and keywords to improve site performance and visibility.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least five years of professional experience. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:

• Expertise in front-end technologies, specifically HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency with CMS platforms, particularly Contentful.
• A solid understanding of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for design detail.
• Professional communication skills to support team collaboration and CMS training.

Compensation and benefits

The hourly rate for this position is $45 – $56/hr. As a member of the Braintrust network, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work. Please note that this opportunity is intended for individual professional contractors, including those operating through their own LLC or corporation.
