The role
We are seeking a Senior PR Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a senior-level position where you will report to the Director of Brand and Buzz. You will be instrumental in building our external communication function from the ground up, increasing our brand awareness, and establishing our voice as a leader in the people-focused business space.
Core responsibilities
- Proactively identify and execute strategic opportunities to broadcast our unique brand story and increase market awareness.
- Oversee our PR agency relationship to ensure we are maximizing our reach and impact across all media channels.
- Partner with the Content Marketing team to align our external messaging and leverage executive leadership to champion our brand at key events.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in communications and a passion for strategic storytelling. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Public Relations, Journalism, or Communications.
- A proven track record of working with business, tech, and design media, including established contacts in these sectors.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for editing and proofreading.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex media strategies independently.
- A confident understanding of media strategy and how to leverage converged media to drive results.
