The Digital Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Lead Marketer in various aspects of marketing, including social media management, content development, web page optimization, SEO/SEM, and customer service.
Responsibilities
Social Media Marketing: Develop and execute engaging social media campaigns across various platforms. Monitor social media performance and engage with followers to build brand awareness and drive traffic to the website.Content Development: Create compelling and informative content for various marketing channels, including blog posts, website copy, email marketing campaigns, and social media posts.Web Page Development: Design and develop effective landing pages optimized for conversions. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure visual appeal and brand consistency.Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research for SEO and paid search campaigns. Identify high-value keywords to improve organic search visibility and drive targeted traffic.Marketing Opportunities: Identify and analyze potential marketing opportunities to maximize brand exposure and drive customer acquisition.Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with marketing vendors to ensure timely and effective execution of marketing initiatives.Return on Ad Spent (ROAS) Optimization: Analyze campaign performance data to optimize ROAS and ensure maximum efficiency in advertising investments.Creative Skills: Utilize graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop or Canva) to create visually appealing marketing materials.Technical Skills: Leverage spreadsheets, AI tools, and other marketing platforms to streamline workflows and enhance campaign effectiveness.Display Ads: Collaborate with the marketing or creative team to develop eye-catching display ads that align with brand guidelines.Campaign Implementation: Execute and monitor marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.Customer Service: Provide excellent telephone and email customer service support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a digital marketing role, preferably in a retail environment.Skills: Proven proficiency in social media marketing, content creation, web development, SEO/SEM, and customer service. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed marketing decisions. Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop or Canva) and familiarity with AI tools.
