Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States, where you will play a pivotal part in securing and scaling our cloud-native infrastructure. You will be instrumental in maintaining our proactive defense posture while ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of security technology.
Your impact
- Take ownership of our end-to-end cloud security posture by building and maintaining defense-in-depth strategies across AWS and Kubernetes environments.
- Embed security automation directly into our CI/CD pipelines, including container scanning and dependency analysis, to ensure a seamless development lifecycle.
- Collaborate directly with our internal Pen Testing and Red Teams to conduct offensive testing, threat modeling, and rapid vulnerability remediation.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in cloud security and a passion for building secure infrastructure. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud security, or infrastructure security.
- Deep technical expertise in AWS and Kubernetes security, including IAM, VPC, and RBAC configurations.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting abilities in Python, BASH, or Go.
- A solid understanding of Zero Trust principles and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, and FedRAMP.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security, CKS, or CKAD are highly valued.
Perks and compensation
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $170,000 USD, depending on your experience, skills, and location. In addition to your salary, we offer the following:
