What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will be based in our Pittsburgh, PA office, where you will play a vital role in securing, operating, and deploying software within U.S. Government accredited environments. This is a perfect opportunity for a dedicated engineer who loves working with diverse technologies and is obsessed with building efficient, high-quality systems.
What will you do?
- Secure, operate, and manage continuous deployments for FedRAMP and IL5 environments.
- Integrate security tools directly into our CI/CD pipelines, perform regular security scans, and actively remediate vulnerabilities.
- Serve as a security subject matter expert by governing architectures to ensure they remain compliant and within the scope of an Authority to Operate.

Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Practical experience with Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting and command line operations.
- Hands-on operational experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-171, or DoD SRG.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code and systems monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- The ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, or current possession of one.
Desired skills include programming experience in languages like Golang, Java, or Python, as well as experience with containerized microservices architectures using Kubernetes and Helm.
