The role
We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. You will serve as a vital link between our software development, operations, and cybersecurity teams, ensuring that security is ingrained in every step of our CI/CD pipeline.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and implement security strategies within our CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with technical leads to ensure seamless integration.
- Build and maintain tools that empower our engineers to easily incorporate security components into their workflows.
- Coordinate security testing, including ethical hacking and penetration testing, while defining standards for secure API development.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in information technology, security administration, or security operations.
- Strong proficiency with AWS security, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Deep understanding of security testing, API development, and firewall protocols.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as OWASP, CVSS, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner are highly valued.
