We are PolicyMe, a venture-backed InsurTech startup on a mission to modernize the life insurance industry. Since our launch in 2018, we have helped families across Canada by streamlining the insurance process to make it honest, simple, and affordable. We have already sold over $1 billion in coverage and were recently named one of Canada's 50 Most Impactful Companies. We are currently looking for a DevOpsSec Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis to help us build and scale the infrastructure that supports our continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our engineering teams to create and maintain the essential tooling they need to succeed.
- Proactively evaluate and harden our infrastructure security to protect against potential cybersecurity threats.
- Design, develop, and scale our infrastructure while enhancing CI/CD pipelines to support new business use cases.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
- Proven experience working within AWS and UNIX/Linux environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
- Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
