DevOps Platform Engineer at Toogeza

We are toogeza, a recruiting firm dedicated to connecting talented professionals with innovative tech startups across the globe. We are currently helping our client, Spinlab, find a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to join their team on a remote, part-time basis.

Spinlab specializes in helping leaders in the slot gaming industry unlock the full potential of their data. By utilizing advanced processing methods, they provide actionable insights that allow businesses to optimize performance and maintain a competitive edge. As a member of their team, you will play a critical role in scaling infrastructure for data-intensive products while focusing on automation, security, and the successful production deployment of machine learning models.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain infrastructure on GCP, including networking, Kubernetes, Vertex AI, and various database systems.
• Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Utilize Pulumi or Terraform to provision and oversee infrastructure as code.
• Support the deployment, monitoring, and operational lifecycle of ML models.
• Manage end-to-end platform operations, including security and networking.
• Collaborate directly with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business objectives.

Must-haves

• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience working with GCP or another major cloud provider.
• Practical knowledge of Pulumi or Terraform.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong foundation in Linux systems and network architecture.
• Deep familiarity with building and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
• Professional fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with the deployment of machine learning or data science models.
• Background in industries such as iGaming, B2B SaaS, or Fintech.
• Relevant professional certifications in Cloud or DevOps technologies.
