We are on a mission to tackle the most fundamental challenges in AI and robotics, creating intelligent machines that improve lives. We are looking for a DevOps Intern to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for an on-site internship. In this role, you will work alongside our research scientists and software engineers to support robotic platforms in both cloud and on-premises environments. You will gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and have the opportunity to present a unique demo project showcasing your contributions by the end of your time with us.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our engineering teams to build, test, and deploy software across various robotic platforms.
- Manage and optimize our container orchestration systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform while maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is currently pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, cybersecurity, or a related field. You should have at least two years of experience delivering robust code, whether through internships, academic research, or open-source projects.
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
- Proven ability to write effective scripts using Unix Shell and Python.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills with a collaborative mindset.
- A proactive desire to learn and stay current with emerging technologies.
While not required, we value candidates who have experience with MLOps, Google Cloud Platform, or configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
