The opportunity
We are searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our CI/CD pipelines. As our codebase and engineering team continue to expand, we need someone dedicated to improving the developer experience and shortening feedback loops. You will play a vital role in managing our growing monorepo, ensuring that our build, test, and deployment processes remain fast, reliable, and efficient. By leveraging your expertise in Bazel and cloud-native technologies, you will directly influence the productivity of our developers and help us maintain our competitive edge in the financial technology space.
A day in the life
- You will manage and optimize our CI/CD pipelines, with a specific focus on evaluating and improving our current Jenkins infrastructure.
- You will utilize Bazel to build, test, and deploy applications across our diverse stack, which includes TypeScript, Scala, Python, and Golang.
- You will collaborate closely with our development teams to troubleshoot pipeline issues, streamline workflows, and implement solutions that enhance build speed and cost-effectiveness.
Who you are
You are a seasoned engineer with a deep passion for DevOps and a strong technical background. You communicate effectively in English and thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments. Your toolkit includes:
- Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines, specifically with Jenkins.
- Proficiency in using Bazel for complex build and deployment tasks.
- Hands-on experience working with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- A solid understanding of programming languages such as TypeScript, Scala, Python, or Golang.
- A problem-solving mindset focused on reliability, security, and developer efficiency.
