DevOps Engineer at Synapse Labs

The role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, and we welcome applicants from anywhere in the world. You will work directly with our engineering team to architect, maintain, and scale the infrastructure that powers our services.

Core responsibilities

• Build and manage Kubernetes clusters to support our backend infrastructure.
• Maintain and upgrade RPC nodes across more than 20 different blockchains.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub to streamline our development processes.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should be a crypto-native engineer with a deep understanding of blockchain technology and developer tooling. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Proven experience managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters, ideally in the range of 100 to 1,000 nodes.
• A strong ability to design simple, scalable distributed systems.
• A track record of helping teams mature from the ground up by implementing standardized tools for observability, stability, and scaling.
• Hands-on experience working with GCP.
• A proactive mindset that allows you to own problems end-to-end and learn new technologies as needed.
• Professional proficiency in English.
