The role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team on a full-time basis. You will report directly to our VP of Engineering and play a critical role in developing the data products our customers rely on to analyze their employment pipelines. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere, provided you can maintain a schedule that overlaps with the US East Coast workday from 9am to 5pm GMT-5.

Core responsibilities

• Strengthen our existing IT infrastructure while upholding rigorous security protocols.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and streamline our operational workflows.
• Manage, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience working as a DevOps, SRE, or Backend engineer.
• Deep expertise in Python programming and Terraform for AWS automation.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, ECS, and Airflow.
• A strong grasp of SQL and relational database systems.
• Proven ability to design and operate robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• A solid understanding of security best practices, specifically regarding AWS security groups and least privilege access.
• High proficiency in English and access to reliable home internet.
