The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Moldova on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be the architect of our DevOps strategy, ensuring that our infrastructure is as robust and innovative as the digital products we create. You will serve as a vital link between our development, quality assurance, and operations departments, helping us refine our software development lifecycle and streamline our infrastructure to support our high standards of excellence.

A day in the life

• You will design, build, and maintain our core DevOps infrastructure, ensuring our continuous integration and delivery pipelines run smoothly and efficiently.
• You will collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and implement automation strategies that optimize our existing development processes.
• You will take ownership of our cloud environments, managing everything from server storage to network components while implementing rigorous security and compliance standards.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with a passion for solving complex technical problems and a desire to mentor those around you. You bring a collaborative spirit and the ability to navigate ambiguous challenges with critical thinking. Your background includes:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps role, ideally within a web application development setting.
• Deep proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Bash, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Helm.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Nagios, or Solarwinds.
• Intermediate proficiency in the English language, allowing you to communicate effectively within our international team.
