The opportunity
We are searching for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Canada. In this executive-level role, you will report directly to the Director of Tech Ops. You will be responsible for the deployment, automation, and maintenance of our ecommerce platform. By working closely with our security, network, SRE, and development teams, you will ensure that our infrastructure remains scalable, secure, and efficient.
A day in the life
- Architect, develop, and maintain the automation and deployment processes that power our ecommerce platform.
- Collaborate across teams to implement new platform features and ensure they are successfully adopted and deployed.
- Monitor and troubleshoot our infrastructure to maintain high standards for performance, security, and scalability.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in engineering and a passion for cloud-native technologies. You communicate clearly, work well within a team, and possess the problem-solving skills necessary to tackle complex technical challenges. Your qualifications include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar technical role.
- Deep expertise in cloud-based services, specifically AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Extensive experience running Kubernetes as a service and managing clusters using GitOps patterns with tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform and strong knowledge of Linux systems administration.
- Fluency in English.
