Magnet Forensics is a global leader in digital investigative software, creating advanced tools that help investigators acquire, analyze, and share evidence from devices like computers, smartphones, and IoT hardware. We serve over 4,000 customers across more than 100 countries, providing critical support for those fighting crime and protecting national security. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team on a full-time basis. You will play a vital role in our engineering organization by supporting our SaaS REVIEW solution, driving best practices in CI/CD, and helping us prepare for FedRAMP compliance. Please note that candidates for this position must reside in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Identify and advocate for improvements across our processes, tools, and architecture to help guide our long-term product roadmap.
- Provide mentorship to team members while fostering effective communication across the product organization to build consensus.
- Support compliance initiatives and participate in support calls with our professional services team to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Requirements

- At least 4 years of experience working with Python and/or Go.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in patching Linux systems and managing containers.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services and building CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code practices, including experience with tools like Terraform or Helm charts.
- Solid understanding of networking design, security protocols, and Linux shell scripting.
- Experience with Git-based version control and standard build tools such as Jenkins.
What we offer
