Our Toyota Connected Mobility team is looking for a dedicated DevOps Engineer to help us design, maintain, and enhance the cloud operations that power our sophisticated microservice platforms. Since our founding in 2016, we have focused on integrating big data and cloud intelligence to make the driving experience safer, more intuitive, and highly personal for Toyota and Lexus owners. You will join a diverse group of engineers, data scientists, and product managers who are passionate about revolutionizing mobility. Key outcomes
- Develop, manage, and evolve our CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient delivery.
- Support and expand our cloud infrastructure and services hosted on AWS.
- Apply creative problem-solving to address complex technical challenges within distributed systems.
- Automate build processes and integrate static code quality tools to maintain high standards.
- Promote advanced deployment strategies, such as Canary and Blue/Green, to ensure system resilience.
- Develop and maintain applications utilizing Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of professional experience working as a DevOps or Software Engineer.
- Practical experience authoring infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Hands-on proficiency with AWS cloud computing.
- Proven ability to build and run containerized applications.
- Experience automating tasks through shell scripting.
- Strong background working within an Agile team environment.
- Technical familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience operating applications on Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Amazon EKS, Helm, or Kustomize.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is valued, though we prioritize talent and demonstrated experience above all else.
