We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining our infrastructure as code and containerized applications to ensure our systems run efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and debug infrastructure as code using Ruby, Chef, and Terraform.
- Analyze user needs and contribute to technical requirements and design specifications.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve our current systems.
- Collaborate with end users to prototype, refine, and test new solutions.
- Troubleshoot and analyze code to identify the root cause of errors.
- Participate in design meetings to provide technical input and guidance.
Must-haves
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with AWS.
- Proficiency with HashiCorp tools, specifically Terraform, Packer, and Vault.
- Practical experience managing TLS certificates.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
- Experience with Ruby, Chef, and PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of network topologies, distributed architectures, and software environments.
- Ability to create detailed design documentation and technical specifications.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with UML for technical design.
- Knowledge of Windows architecture, including Active Directory and server versions like 2008 and 2012.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Cassandra.
- Proficiency in using Unix or Linux command line tools and scripting.
