About the Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will focus on automating manual processes and managing the deployment of code to support our continuous integration and continuous deployment frameworks. You will serve as a vital bridge between our infrastructure and application development teams, ensuring our systems remain stable, efficient, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between our infrastructure and application development departments.
- Leverage cloud APIs to enhance the monitoring of system stability and overall performance.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts across various applications and develop comprehensive runbooks for outage management.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, we look for candidates who bring the following expertise:
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps and building CI/CD pipelines.
- A minimum of 5 years of cloud experience specifically with AWS, plus at least 2 years of experience with GCP.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting production environments.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Terraform.
- At least 1 year of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages, including UNIX, Shell, and Python.
- Bonus points if you have experience with databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, as well as familiarity with Agile methodologies and monitoring tools like Data Dog.
