We are looking for a talented individual to join our mission as we scale our platform to meet the challenges of the future.
About the Role
We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the primary driver behind our technical operations, responsible for designing and implementing robust CI/CD processes while maintaining the health of our production systems. Please note that this is a hybrid position, requiring team members to meet in person at least one day per week, alternating between our offices in Menlo Park and San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient, scalable CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with our software development and quality assurance teams.
- Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline the entire software lifecycle, from build to release.
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong technical background and a collaborative mindset. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar engineering capacity.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and deep knowledge of CI/CD principles, specifically using GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, including provisioning and managing infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of containerization with Docker and orchestration via AWS ECS.
- Experience managing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a cross-functional team.
Location
This position is based in a hybrid capacity, with the flexibility to work from anywhere provided you can attend in-person team days in the San Francisco Bay Area.

- Unlimited vacation and paid time off.
- 12 weeks of paid maternity and paternity leave.
- 401(k) program with immediate eligibility.
- Life and AD+D insurance.
