About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position where you will play a vital role in managing our core cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for building resilient systems, automating complex processes, and ensuring our platform remains secure and performant as we continue to scale our services for millions of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate manual infrastructure tasks to eliminate complexity and improve overall system reliability.
- Influence decision-making regarding our core cloud systems and take full ownership of projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with the broader engineering organization to identify workflow improvements, provide architectural recommendations, and conduct code reviews to boost team productivity.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or possess equivalent professional experience. You should have at least 3 years of experience in the following areas:
- Technical Expertise: You should be a Linux expert and a command-line enthusiast with a deep understanding of networking stacks, including load balancers and proxies. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Golang is essential for building internal tools and automating tasks.
- Cloud Infrastructure: You should have significant experience with managed cloud services, specifically AWS. We are looking for someone comfortable with container orchestration using Kubernetes and EKS, as well as experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Problem Solving: You must demonstrate a methodical approach to troubleshooting across the entire stack and have a strong grasp of operational metrics, observability, and security best practices within a microservices environment.
Location
This position is based in India and is an on-site role.
