DevOps Engineer at CommerceIQ

What you bring

As a Senior DevOps Engineer working on a full-time basis in India, you will play a vital role in maintaining the security, health, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure. You will be a key partner to our engineering teams, providing the technical guidance and systems necessary to meet our customers' evolving needs. Your daily work will center on Engineering, DevOps, AWS, Kubernetes, Python, and Terraform. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Managing and evolving our shared cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Advising and coaching engineering teams on cloud development best practices to improve their workflows.
• Taking hands-on ownership of the tools and services that support our global commerce platform.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with at least 6 years of technical experience, including 4 years of hands-on work with Python, Kubernetes, and AWS. You should have a strong background in managing Linux-based infrastructure and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. We value professionals who have successfully managed the deployment, security, and operations of SaaS or B2C products. You should be comfortable designing RESTful APIs and working within microservice architectures. Strong communication skills in English are essential, as you will be collaborating closely with various teams to troubleshoot complex issues and implement root-cause solutions. An ideal candidate is someone who learns new technologies quickly and is committed to maintaining high standards of security and performance.
