We are Synapse Labs, the team behind the Synapse Protocol. Our mission is to act as the HTTPS for the crypto world by providing a decentralized interchain network that lets users and developers move data across different blockchains. We have already facilitated over $50 billion in volume for more than 2 million users, and we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join us in expanding our ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Architect, maintain, and scale the infrastructure that supports our services.
- Build and oversee Kubernetes clusters for our backend operations.
- Manage, upgrade, and ensure the reliability of RPC nodes across more than 20 different blockchains.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
Must-haves
- Proven experience managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters, ideally handling between 100 and 1,000 nodes.
- A strong ability to design simple, scalable distributed systems.
- A track record of helping engineering teams implement standardized tools for observability, stability, and scaling.
- Hands-on experience working within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
- A crypto-native mindset with a deep understanding of blockchain technology and developer tools.
- An ownership mentality, where you are comfortable learning new skills to solve problems from start to finish.
- Professional proficiency in English.
