Role:
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure, primarily on AWS, with optional experience in Heroku being advantageous.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various software applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline software development and deployment processes.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Manage and oversee security compliances, including SOC2, ensuring that infrastructure and processes meet or exceed required standards.
- Monitor and report on system performance, health, and security status.
- Establish and maintain observability across all systems to ensure proactive monitoring of application health and real-time troubleshooting.
- Contribute to IT operations tasks, assisting with the maintenance and optimization of internal IT systems.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies, implementing them to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps role.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services; familiarity with Heroku is a plus.
- Proficient in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with SOC2 compliance management is highly desirable.
- Experience with setting up and managing observability in a cloud environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Certifications in AWS or other relevant technologies.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Practical experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc.
