Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, though you will be expected to balance remote work with in-person collaboration. You will be instrumental in ensuring the operational excellence and automation of our systems within our hybrid-cloud environment.
Your impact
- Drive the adoption of continuous delivery tools and culture, including the management of our Nginx reverse proxy solutions.
- Automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure and security by leveraging modern scripting and frameworks.
- Partner with our engineering teams to build robust CI/CD pipelines and maintain high-performance, container-based cloud solutions.
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience focused on building and releasing web services, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in cloud computing.
- Deep technical proficiency with Microsoft Azure, container-based infrastructure, and the Atlassian suite including Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
- Strong expertise in Nginx and reverse proxy implementation, alongside a solid grasp of the full SDLC.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, paired with a degree in computer science or a related field.
- A proactive approach to mentoring team members and acting as a subject matter expert for microservices deployment.
