Advisor360 team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to ensure the operational excellence and automation of our systems in a hybrid-cloud environment. This role will require a balance of tactical and strategic, ranging from the ability to deep-dive customer impacting issues in real-time to executing on long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide insight and expertise that will directly influence and accelerate the organization's continued implementation and adoption of continuous delivery tools, processes, and culture including out reverse proxy nginx solution.
- Leverage scripting, frameworks, and modern tools to automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure and security.
- Collaborate with developers to build a robust build and deployment pipelines that includes build, continuous integration, and continuous deployment using container based state of the art solutions.
- Works with our engineering teams to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions.
- Validates requirements, performs analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation, and support for assigned projects to drive application changes.
- Ensures compliance with coding standards and development procedures and suggests opportunities for improvement.
- Acquires and utilizes strong technical and application knowledge to introduce and forecast the impact of new software design patterns, code concepts, and emerging technologies.
- Shares information and expertise to improve the productivity of team and empower individuals.
- Participate on a weekly on-call schedule to resolve any critical and urgent after-hours production deploys and support.
- Acting as a subject matter expert within the organization while resolving complex technical issues or challenges related to build, release, and deployment of microservices.
- Demonstrates versatility of knowledge and applies strong technical skill base to contribute to meet strategic objectives.
- Acting as a mentor to develop and support team members.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building and releasing web services.
- Strong understanding of reverse proxy, HA proxy and nginx implementation and troubleshooting.
- Proficient with building container based infrastructure using Microsoft Azure technology.
- Proficient with Atlassian tools suite bitbucket, confluence and Jira Administration
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of cloud computing.
- Experience with CI/CD systems.
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience serving as technical expert throughout the full SDLC from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery, and maintenance.
- A leader in coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Degree in computer science or a similar field.
Preferred:
- Expert knowledge of Python, .NET, database technologies, Kubernetes, nginx
- GitHub, Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications preferred.
- Expert use with Jira, Confluence, and other related technologies
