DevOps Engineer at SafeAI

As we enter a phase of rapid industry adoption, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our global team. You will collaborate with colleagues across our offices in Silicon Valley, Perth, Tokyo, and New Delhi, working alongside leaders who bring expertise from organizations such as Tesla, Google, and Caterpillar. This full-time, hybrid role based in India is a unique opportunity to shape the infrastructure that powers the future of autonomous heavy equipment.

Key outcomes

• Design and maintain robust cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP to support both software and machine learning workflows.
• Build and manage efficient CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployment for software and ML models.
• Automate the deployment and scaling of machine learning models to ensure high availability and real-time performance.
• Monitor system health and model accuracy to maintain maximum uptime.
• Implement rigorous data security protocols to protect sensitive information.
• Develop automation strategies to streamline repetitive tasks, including model retraining and infrastructure scaling.
• Partner with data scientists and software developers to integrate new features and services seamlessly.
• Establish comprehensive backup and disaster recovery solutions for all critical systems.
• Evaluate emerging DevOps and MLOps trends to drive continuous improvement within our technical stack.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on MLOps.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant cloud platform certifications, specifically with experience in tools like AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP AI Platform.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and experience using Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Python and expertise in scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of data versioning tools like DVC and secure data storage solutions.
• Strong grasp of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with production monitoring tools like MLflow or TFX.
• A solid understanding of security best practices regarding model integrity and data privacy.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in English.
