The role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. This is a critical role for someone who thrives on building resilient systems and wants to play a key part in scaling our infrastructure to meet the demands of our growing customer base.
Core responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline our release cycles and ensure seamless, zero-downtime deployments.
- Manage and automate our cloud infrastructure using Terraform to ensure our systems remain scalable, secure, and highly available.
- Administer our containerized environments by managing Docker and orchestrating complex workloads with Kubernetes.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Three to four years of hands-on experience working in a DevOps or SRE capacity.
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.
- Deep experience in managing and troubleshooting Docker and Kubernetes clusters.
- Practical knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong programming skills in Shell or Python for task automation.
- Familiarity with GitOps practices using tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD, as well as modern monitoring and observability stacks.
- A solid understanding of Linux and Unix operating systems, along with network security fundamentals like TCP/IP and SSL/TLS.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
