The role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis in India. This is a hybrid role where you will report to the Infrastructure and Release team manager. You will be a key player in designing, building, and operating the infrastructure that hosts our core customer services. We need someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to work alongside software engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable services.

Core responsibilities

• Drive infrastructural improvements that enhance the high availability and scalability of our existing and new service offerings.
• Champion an automation-first approach while maintaining software repositories and innovating on our current DevOps tooling.
• Collaborate across departments, including security and business operations, to ensure our managed services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps capacity, with a strong background in financial services, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and Helm for infrastructure automation.
• Solid Linux experience and a proven track record in software development, ideally using JVM-based languages like Kotlin or Java.
• Working knowledge of at least one public cloud provider and proficiency in a contemporary scripting language.
• Excellent communication skills and the emotional intelligence to work effectively within a diverse, distributed team.
• A proactive, go-getter attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
