DevOps Engineer at MyHeritage

We are currently looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Israel and help us shape the future of our cloud infrastructure. What you'll be doing

• You will execute core DevOps tasks while providing guidance and support to your fellow team members as we continue to evolve our infrastructure.
• You will take the lead in identifying opportunities for cost savings by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on our cloud expenditures.
• You will build dashboards and promote a strong FinOps culture throughout our research and development department to ensure we are operating as efficiently as possible.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• A deep understanding of AWS services, pricing models, and discount programs.
• Proven ability to manage, provision, and maintain cloud resources using automated tools.
• Expertise in using AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor to perform rightsizing and cost allocation.
• Strong skills in Linux system administration and production-level troubleshooting.
• A creative mindset and the drive to mentor other engineers while learning new technologies.
• Professional proficiency in English.
