We are Ex Populus, a premier game development studio fueled by talent from legendary companies like Pixar, Ubisoft, Activision, and Blizzard. We are currently pushing the boundaries of interactive entertainment by building Final Form and LAMOverse, two major titles that leverage the power of the Xai Blockchain. We are looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis to help us scale our infrastructure and support our ambitious development goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our engineering team to design, deploy, and refine essential infrastructure services, including our monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Take ownership of internal development tools and environments while assisting fellow developers with local deployments and environment optimization.
- Establish and enforce high-level best practices for system scaling, capacity planning, and security, ensuring our distributed systems remain resilient against threats like DDoS attacks and DNS vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps or closely related engineering role.
- Strong technical proficiency with Terraform, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, TypeScript, and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes and Docker Compose configurations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, specifically using Google Cloud Build.
- Deep knowledge of Linux environments, cloud architectures, and the lifecycle management of large-scale, cloud-hosted systems.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is considered a plus.
